Abstract

The voluminous volume, which is dedicated to the memory of the former director of the Benaki Museum, Angelos Delivorrias (1937-2018), brings together a photographic essay and 24 unpublished texts of the Foundation?s scientific staff. The texts focus on objects or archives from the museum collections, or on activities served by the Museum, reflecting, in terms of the variety of their subjects, the cultural and historical range of the evidence of the past, kept in the Benaki Museum and its annexes.
