Abstract

'Text and Textuality in Early Medieval Iberia' offers a new approach to the sociocultural history of the northern Iberian Peninsula in the early Middle Ages, using the first complete survey of the over 4000 surviving Latin legal records from the period to explore the workings of literacy and documentation.
