Abstract

The emergence of new technologies and the threat of economic challenges are just two of the factors affecting the future prospects of businesses and employees alike. In such an environment, a skills-first strategy to hiring and retaining workers can benefit both companies and workers, according to data from LinkedIn. The authors explain how investing in a skills-first approach to bringing in new talent and helping employees upskill and reskill can set their workforce up for long-term resilience.
