Abstract

"Andriy Sodomora has long been renowned as Ukraine's preeminent translator of ancient Greek and Roman literatures, giving a Ukrainian voice to the classical canon: Hesiod, Menander, Greek lyric and tragic poets, Lucretius, Ovid, Virgil, Seneca, and Horace, among many others.
