Abstract

Investments in cloud-managed networking platforms are growing at a rapid pace. According to IDC the USD489 million enterprise network observability market will double in size by 2027. IT teams now wonder how observability across their hybrid infrastructure will change once management of enterprise wireless networks is moved to a cloud platform. Cloud-managed networking leverages cloud infrastructure to monitor and manage network resources. This shift from on-premises management software complements the agility, flexibility, and efficiency of other network modernization efforts, leveraging technology innovations such as streaming telemetry. In this report, cloud native architect Kenichi Shibata takes a close look at these issues.
