Abstract

In today’s day and age, organizations must harness the power of data and technology to compete, especially with the advent and growth of AI. Data literacy represents a space where it isn’t about the technical but about the individual and then the organization. Data literacy empowers people to know how to utilize data, even without technical skills. Data literacy courses are just the first in a series of four courses: data literacy, data driven decision making, data storytelling, and a data-driven culture. Data literacy is the foundation for people and can help empower them in their careers. The purpose of this course is to empower the learner of the world of data literacy. Data literacy is an important topic in data and analytics as it helps to empower the masses to understand data and analytics, and can help empower data and analytics professionals more in their chosen careers.
