Abstract

Surgery is the primary treatment for early-stage cases of cervical cancer, which is a serious threat to women's health. This book covers surgical techniques in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery for cervical cancer based on Querleu-Morrow Classification of Radical Hysterectomy. The authors incorporate membrane anatomy theory to provide a detailed and systematic explanation of each step in embryonic compartment hysterectomy, with a particular focus on the ventral parametrium, a challenging “black box” area for many surgeons.
