Abstract: | "I took a trip to Yellowstone National Park in January of 2008, and returned with a souvenir: a yellow pin, resembling a campaign button, with the message, "GREEN UP WEST YELLOWSTONE" in bold green letters. It was given to me, not by one of the many representatives of environmental groups I met, but by Marysue Costello, the past president of the West Yellowstone, Montana, Chamber of Commerce, and an ardent opponent of the campaign to ban snowmobiling in Yellowstone Park.
