Abstract

Canaris's Collected Writings will serve to permanently assure access to his work and guarantee its visibility for researchers and practitioners. This, in turn, should help to broaden his readership in Germany and abroad. Dividing the collected papers into three volumes, "Legal Theory," "Liability Based on Trust," and "Private Law," results in the creation of three separate monographs that systematically cover the state of research and provide a multifaceted picture of these three important areas of the law
